research data on user behavior and product preferences.
DecisionStep not only tracks user actions, but also the entire
state of the application each time a user selects a product,
answers a question or takes any action. This approach reveals
hidden relationships between, for example, a product that a user
selects and all of the needs-analysis questions that the user had
answered prior to making that selection. The high degree of
interactivity and the multiple user-type approach of
DecisionStep’s tools can generate significantly more market
research data than traditional web site analytics. The information
can also be more accurate and timely than traditional focus groups
since the online users are actually in the process of exploring
the relevant products.
